Will my hat be customized for me if accessories are ordered?
Yes, our professional hat makers will design your hat for you once accessories are purchased. All accessories including the original grosgrain ribbon are removable should you wish to adjust, add, or change any details on your custom Fear Not Hat design.
How do I care for my hat?
Your hat is handmade, and thoughtfully designed to withstand the test of time if you properly care for it. Best practices include the occasional "soft brush" to remove dust and debris, picking up your hat by the crown and not the brim, and hanging your hat instead of laying it flat.
What are the hats made of?
Our hats are made with the highest quality wool materials found in South America.
Can wool-felt hats get wet?
You want to avoid moisture. Wet hats often change shape slightly when they dry. There are treatments available for waterproofing your hat.
While we do not recommend getting your Fear Not hat wet, we understand the nature of wearing our hats in the elements. Should your hat get wet, simply pat dry to remove excess moisture, and store on a flat surface. Once dry use a streamer as needed to help the wool regain its shape.
How do you hang your hats?
We find the best and most practical way to display and hang your hat collection with the help of Command hooks, or storing your Fear Not Hat in a hat box as this will keep your hat clean while stored and preserve its shape.
What is our exchange/return policy?
All sales are final in-person events and online. NO EXCEPTIONS - We are a small bespoke company. If you do not know your exact hat size, we ask that you please reach out to our team of professional hat makers prior to placing your order. We do not offer exchanges or returns.
What is your Shipping cost?
For domestic orders, the shipping cost is a flat rate of $20.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we only offer domestic shipping.
What if my hat is damaged?
Fear Not is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
